Porting SAPI5 TTS Engine to Windows 10 Runtime RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

we are distributing personalized voices on Windows using SAPI5.
A customer using a Windows 10 TTS app was not able to use our TTS engine and the voice.

We found (http://www.webbie.org.uk/blog/microsoft-speech/) that there is another API for Universal Win10 Apps ("Windows Mobile, Windows Runtime, or Bing Speech Services") but could not find any further documentation how to make our engine compatible to this interface.

There is a lot of information on how to use the interface but I found nothing for vendors as was available in the SAPI 5 documentation.

Could anyone point us to documentation on that or someone who we can contact?

Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
