publish visual studio dropbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hallo

    Hope all are well.

I've done a small Windows form application for our company, I've published the project (oneClick) in a folder zipped and send it to the team to use, but now if I make any modifications all needs to unistall and reinstall, I see I can do automatic updates when the application is launched, I've created a folder on dropbox and published to the local disk which is linked to dropbox,

In the how will it be installed I copied and pasted the dropbox folder, but it keeps on complaining about the following:

For security reasons DTD is prohibited in this XML document. To enable DTD processing set the DtdProcessing property on XmlReaderSettings to Parse and pass the settings into XmlReader.Create method.

It there any easy way to deploy this for auto updates, for both external and internal people to use?

The application is capturing and store data in SQL this part is working, just the easier deployment will be handy.

    And suggestion will be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Jacques.
