Stop SessionSwitchReason.SessionLock if conditions are not met RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I would like to ask you if its possible to stop Windows Lock if e.g timer in my app is running.

I know hot to fire and event when e.Reason = SessionSwitchReason.SessionLock or e.Reason = SessionSwitchReason.SessionUnlock but I have no idea, how to stop Windows lock. I know that I could stop timer using SessionLock  but it has to be done by particular user manually. I would like to show message box with information about running timer first, then lock.

    Is it possible?

Thank you very much for your suggestions

  • Just have a timer to simulate a mouse or keyboard input every few minutes and Windows will not lock the session, each input will reset the Input idle
