Resize a textbox? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I'm wondering if you can help me resize a text box in a view?  Some of the comments are getting very long and are making our views very difficult to follow.  I am wondering if we could shrink the height and cut off some of the text in the view?

    Thanks!

    Laura

  • HI Laura,

which page you are referring ?

do you wish to re size text box on viewitem.aspx page ?

    • Open the site > page in SPD and then select the text box.
    • You will get option to customize the text box > click on create custom content and then it will allow you to re size the text box.

  • Hi there,

I think I may be more beginner than I thought.  What is SPD? (I Googled and I found this as "SharePoint Developer"). I just have a SharePoint site that was developed prior to my being involved, and I don't have SPD installed.  Can I edit it through SharePoint Developer?

    Thanks!
