I have a box object in my report. Inside box object I have text objects like below.

    TAX-A   100

    TAX-B    200

    TAX-C    500

    TAX-C    600

If TAX-B is not there then it is showing like below when I export this report to PDF.

    TAX-A   100

    TAX-C    500

    TAX-C    600

Please let me know how to remove that blank space for TAX-B in PDF if a text object is not there.

    Thanks in advance.

Try to use a formula, by using this u append the text in a string and place this string into the text area.

    Which will solved ur problem.

    Thanks Udayroy,

I am new to Crystal report. Please let me know where to write formula. Because if I right click on text object and select format object it is showing formula icon for all items.

So please let me know where to go and write formula.

I have uploaded screen shot in the below location.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi harshaprakashst,

You can write the formula on the suppress property of the text field, or the other way, you can put each of your text object in a different section.

Right click on report and insert section,  drag text object into it, and you must check the checkbox "Suppress Blank Section" in section expert.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. But here there are many texfields inside a section. So I can't create new section.

I tried to write formula.  I wrote formula like this in  suppress property of the text field. isnull({dtTechDetailsSum.AddnlSalesTaxRate})

But still there is blank line for that AddnlSalesTax field. Please let me know how to fix this.

    Hi harshaprakashst

Formula doesn't seem to work for me either. If you found some solution, other than suggested by me, please share.

You need to place each field in a seperate section i.e. you have to add multiple detail sections for each row.

and on section -> supress add formula that isNull(tax) then true else false

This will hide that particular row incase blank record found
