Visual Studio 2012 Express with Portable Class Library?

Hello,

I've just had an external party try to build one of my projects using Visual Studio 2012 Express, only to discover that the portable class library I was using within the solution appears to be unsupported.

The error message:

The application which this project type is based on was not found. Please try this link for further information: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?prd=12395&pver=11&sbp=ProjectTypeDeprecated&plcid=0x409&clcid=0x409&ar=MSDN&sar=ProjectCompatibility&o1=786C830F-07A1-408B-BD7F-6EE04809D6DB

The link unfortunately doesn't go anywhere...

Is there a way around this other than passing around binaries for those projects?

Portable Class library projects are not supported in the express SKU...need a higher SKU for the full support.  Of course the binary (e.g., using it as a reference) is, just not the project/source support.

Is Microsoft going to fix the issue with the links being made available within the migration report that do not go anywhere useful?
