Connection error on Northwind OData RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. I'm working through a Power BI tutorial which requires me to connect to Northwind OData feed.

    The URL stated is http://services.odata.org/V3/Northwind/Northwind.svc/

However when I trying to connect to OData using this uRL, I get the message "

    Unable to Connect

We encountered an error while trying to connect.

Details: "OData: Request failed: Unable to connect to the remote server"

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

  • Thanks Edward.

I searched for Power BI and/or OData when entering my request, but couldn't find them in the topic/subtopic classifications for the forums. I'll transfer my query to the Power BI forum.
