Newbie question. I've hosted a site locally with external IP on a Win 2003 Server box. Is it possible to track the time & IPs of people who have accessed my site pages? Are there any reliable & cheap tools to track users? While on the same topic, how can I know who is accessing my PC from my own LAN? Thanks

Look in your IIS logfiles: %systemroot%\system32\logfiles\w3svcX\ (where X corresponds to the website number of the website you wish to track) Any decent web log analyser software will allow you to split the requests into "external" and "internal" requests if you tell it what are you internal, and what are you extenal addresses. www.analog.cx is a popular, free tool. Microsoft also has the LogParser tool available. Cheers Ken
