In RDLC report not connecting the points in 2008 env RRS feed

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to genereate the rdlc report (Chart line report type) in VS-2005 by combaining  two types.

    The graph is pretty good when I display it in the report 2005. However when I deploy to Dev server which is 2008 env, I only see the markers point.

    Cannot see the lines connecting the markers.

    Can someone tell me what is the reason for this? 

    Note

    in 2005 deployment environment its working fine.

    Hi,

    So far as I know, the Visual Studio team released Visual Studio 2005 at the same time as the SQL team released SQL Server 2005 we actually have support for designing NAV 2009 RDLC reports in Visual Studio 2005. But we have better  option and that is to use Visual Studio 2008, because Visual Studio 2008 was released before SQL Server 2008. Visual Studio 2008 only supported RDLC 2005.  Since SQL Server 2008 was not released when Visual Studio 2008 was released. And the same time, RDLC 2005 reports requires Report Viewer 2008.
