Picture Library Will Not open a folder

Question
-
i've created a picture library on multiple sites and we have an issue when there are two or more folders in the root this library. For example, If I have folder A and I open it up, and then I click on the back button on the browser, and then try to open Folder B it will not open. If I open Folder A and use the bread crumb to navigate backwards in the site, then I can open folder B just fine.
It seems that when I use the back button on the broswer it appends a '#' at the end of the url.
ie. http://sp2010/Site/Pictures/Forms/AllItems.aspx#'.
This number sign i believe is what is stopping us from opening folder B. If I delete the number sign from the url it seems to work fine. When i use the bread crumb to go back to the root it does not create the number sign. Does anyone know a way around this or a solution.
Thanks,
Craig

There is a cumulative update patch for the problem:
- When you rest the mouse pointer on a list item in a list that contains many list items, it takes a long time for SharePoint Foundation 2010 to display the Edit Control Block menu. This issue specifically occurs when you use Windows Internet Explorer to view the list.
- Consider the following scenario:
- You create two folders in a picture library in SharePoint Foundation 2010.
- You click one of the folders to open it.
- You click the Back button in Windows Internet Explorer 9 to switch back to the picture library.
- You click the second folder that you created in the picture library.
This cumulative update package resolves the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article:You can check the link for it:

Hi Craig,
Thank you for your post. I am seeing this exact same problem in my own work environment. I did notice thought that if you click the back button a second time it removes the hash.
Did the KB fix work for you? Thanks
