Blend Preview for Silverlight 5 expired

Question

I was using Expression Blend Preview for Silverlight 5 for a few months and it expired. I believe I have the latest version. I then downloaded Blend + SketchFlow Preview for Visual Studio 2012. Now that's expired as well. 

Any idea when the retail versions will be coming out? Or can anyone suggest alternatives while we wait.

The supported RTM version for Silverlight development is Blend for Visual Studio 2012, with VS update 2 applied. With update 2, WPF and Silverlight development are both fully supported.

Does this run on Windows 7 or do you have to have Windows 8?

I am running Windows 7 and the only Blend showing in my VS2012 program group is Blend + Sketchflow Preview for Silverlight 5 - not Blend for VS 2012. On my Windows 8 laptop, the Blend for VS 2012 shows up and the Preview does not. Do I need to reinstall something?

What VS do you have installed on your Windows 7 machine? I believe it should be available on Windows 7 for SL/WPF (not Windows Store apps), but I don't have a Windows 7 machine in front of me to try it.

I have Visual Studio 2012 with Update 3. I went into the installation of VS2012 and found that I didn't install it originally because it originally only was for Windows 8 apps, and I wasn't running Windows 8. So I am installing it now, and then I suppose I should reinstall Update 3?

Not sure whether it will install the update 3 version of Blend or not, if you open Blend and it has a blank list for new projects, you have the original Windows Store apps only version.
