error in Xamarin-AppCompat RRS feed

  • Hello

    I'm newer in progroming of Xamain

    I want use Appcompat in my Project but when i added this Component in my project by any why VS show me 59 errors

    Can you help me??

  • Hi Mojtaba Zahavi,

    The error is simple you want to use ActionBar that is part of Xamarin Android Support Library - v7 which you are not imported in your project or added reference to it...

    So on this nuget link you have library and method to install it in your project.

    You can find it here: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Xamarin.Android.Support.v7.AppCompat/

    But the short story is to run this command inside of Package Manager Console:

    PM> Install-Package Xamarin.Android.Support.v7.AppCompat -Version 23.3.0

    Without "PM>" it is start of the command line.
