Porting ARM to Compact 2013 Timer (sysTime) issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Getting OAL Timer (sysIntr) to work.

    After OALTimerInit()

    subsequent OALMSGs output for about 10 characters then getiing nothing further from serial debug.

    It appears that there is one timer interrupt as that time.

    I guess the OALTimerIntrHandler isn't tidying up properly (clearing interrupt)

    (1) Not enabling the sysIntr allows OAL to run well into KITL initialisation.

    (2) A short loop after timer setup shows the timer is correctly running and overflowing correctly.The

    OALTimerIntrHandler  code is exactly same as the Compact 7 code which runs OK.

    Any help, ideas, plan of attack would be greatly appreciated.

  • I have ported WEC7 to WEC2013 for i.MX6 based board without any change in the Timer Routine. I dont think there is any thing extra that you have to do here.

    For which processor you are porting for?
