Error on using TextAlignment="Justify" (Silverlight 4 TextBox) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    when I set TextAligment to Justify in a TextBox I get the error "Specified method is not supported". Here is my XAML:

    <TextBox x:Name="txTop"
    	TextWrapping="Wrap"
    	Text="TextBox"
    	Foreground="#FF919191"
    	Padding="80,4"
    	Style="{StaticResource InputTextBoxStyle}"
    	BorderBrush="{x:Null}"
    	CaretBrush="White"
    	SelectionBackground="Black"
    	FontSize="16"
    	Background="Transparent"
    	FontFamily="Courier New"
    	TextAlignment="Justify">
     <TextBox.Effect>
    	<DropShadowEffect ShadowDepth="2"
    			 BlurRadius="0"
    			 Color="#FF141414"
    			 Direction="360"/>
     </TextBox.Effect>
    </TextBox>

    I am using Silverlight 4/blend 4 RC.

    Help would be great.

    Martin

  • Justify is not supported for regular textboxes in Silverlight 4 - only the Silverlight rich text box can support justify.  Presenting justify as an option in Blend was a bug which has since then been fixed but did not make it into the RC I'm afraid.

    Sorry for the inconvenience,
