    I want to know how to localize VSCT file for native C++.

  • A vsct resource is the same regardless of the language the associated package was implemented with. The documentation is going to typically revolve around the managed languages because that's what the majority of package authors use these days.

    With a C++ package, you'll want to localize the associated UI resource DLL (which is what contains the .vsct resource). so you'll need to create another resource DLL, similar to what you would do when localizing an application that leverages resource DLLs.

    I wrote a blog on this a good number of years back (for localizing managed packages), but the steps will be somewhat different for a C++ based package. You'll want to basically replicate the ....PackageUI project to create a 2nd resource DLL that contains the localized resources for your package.
