Windows Rich control is not thread-safe? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hello,

I've developed a  ISAPI dll that keeps hanging because of a richEdit component from Fast-Report. So I've opened up a ticket with them and the answer was: "Windows Rich control is not thread-safe, don't use it in the multi-thread application"

I'm struggling for more than a week trying to find a solution.

How do I solve this problem? The reports I have do need Rtf text into it.

Is there a way to make Windows Rich control thread-safe or to free this control after every thread?

    Thanks in advance.

Ps. There is also a post on Stack Oveflow:
