Access 2016 Runtime images are blank RRS feed

  • Question

  • Access 2916 Runtime .jpg images are blank on forms and reports.  This has been fixed in the full version but we desperately need the Runtime fixed and we have over 800 clients in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand that are waiting to switch to Access 2016 but many of them require Access 2016 Runtime.

  • Hi SW,

I suggest you try to install KB3114379 to check whether it will fix this issue.

For another way, I would suggest you try to install Access 2013 Runtime, Access 2013 Runtime is compatible with Access 2016 file.

    Best Regards,

    Edward

  • I did try to run the patch KB3114379 several weeks ago, but it does not run against the Runtime version.  I will now try Access 2013 Runtime as you suggest.

  • Many thanks for the tip. I installed Access 2013 Runtime and my initial testing indicates that it works with Access 2016 .accdr files.
