  • Hi  , May i know how to use vlookup formula to separate data.  thank you 

    Example, as below table, i need separate by department ?

    ID             Name  DEP code  Dept
    Y1012514    David W21L1


    Y1103505  Jame W2101 QA

    Y1103514  Jack W21L2 FINAL INSPECTIO

  • You do not show us a result, you want to have. Up there i can see 3 different line.

    So I do not know did you want to copy data for separate sheet or you want to group this data like in PiwotTable, or use groups (+)...

    If you use formula VLookap you can find data. The same you can have using INDEX and MATCH formulas.
