  • Hi Halil,

    XDebug is actually sitting on disk available at d:\devtools\xdebug\2.5.5\php_5.x\php_xdebug-2.2.5-5.x-vc11-nts.dll. However we have only tested using xdebug for profiling at this time and have not yet tested using remote debugging.

    Could you please vote on this feature at http://feedback.azure.com

    Thanks,

  • Hi Cory thank you for reply,

    I Follow xdebug.org/wizard.php instructions and I see php_xdebug in devtools directory but i can't edit D:\local\Config\PHP-5.4.42\php.ini file.

    instruction :

    1. Edit D:\local\Config\PHP-5.4.42\php.ini and add the line
      zend_extension = "D:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\ext\php_xdebug-2.3.3-5.4-vc9-nts.dll"

    So we can't upload file to the programs files i must use d:\devtools\xdebug\2.5.5\php_5.x\php_xdebug-2.2.5-5.x-vc11-nts.dll but php.ini not saved my changes.

    What can i do ? i can't use the project in my local server and i don't know why... but it's work on the azure website so i must be debug code at the azure server.

  • Hello Halil Emre,

    You will have to enable Xdebug for your PHP version, please follow the steps given in the blog below to enable:

    This blog has instructions on 'Troubleshooting PHP Performance in Microsoft Azure Web Sites with Xdebug'
