System.XML on Windows Mobile RRS feed

    Hi,

I'm using Visual Basic in VS 2005 and am trying to write a mobile app for Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Device.

I want to implement an System.XML.XmlReader but can't.  System.XML is not available for Imports Statement.

What options are available for me to read/write to XML files?

    Thanks,

    Stew

OK, I fiddled around with this and found out that I had to specifically load the system.xml namespace into the project using Add Reference.

Is this what you had to do?

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.xml.xmlwriter.writedoctype(VS.80).aspx

According to above article, system.xml should be available to me in Compact Framework Version 2 which I do have installed.

In my VS, when I create a new project for Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Device, the VS new Project Dialog states "a project for creating a .NET Compact Framework 2.0 forms application for Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC and later.

So, what am I missing?  Why can't I use system.xml?

    Thanks,
    Stewart
