Visual Studio tutorial pointing to options that aren't there RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm not sure if I have picked the correct forum but I decided I would give programming Windows Store apps a go and have downloaded and installed Visual Studio 2013 Express. I went to follow the tutorial for Creating a basic C++ Windows Store App(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn263168.aspx) but the very first step tells you to select a template called windows store, then blank app(xaml) neither of which are present in my software.

Could anyone tell me where I can get an extension to add this on or tell me if I'm doing something wrong. The options available to me under, New Project > Installed > Templates > Visual C++, are; CLR, General, Test, Win32.

    Thanks for your time.
