Vista DHCP Client RRS feed

  • Question

  • Maybe there is a better place to ask this, but didn't see a forum on Vista Networking.

I see the Vista DHCP client no longer uses gratuitous ARPs to detect duplicate addresses on the network. Are there any articles that explain how this is now being performed?

  • Never mind. Still does use gratuitous ARP, but sender IP address is now 0.
