  • I have been trying for many days now to associate a new datasource to a runtime problem.

    This has been my latest attemp from a posting on this forum as an example

    Dim myRDS As New _

    Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportDataSource(

    "Dataset1_ITEM_CYCLE_COUNT", ResultCycle.Tables(0))

    Viewer1.Reset()

    Viewer1.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Local

    Me.Viewer1.LocalReport.ReportPath = "C:\AdminReports\Cycle_SSRS_1.rdlc"

    Viewer1.LocalReport.DataSources.Add(myRDS)

    Me.Viewer1.LocalReport.Refresh()

    '* Show report automatically at form load

    Me.Viewer1.RefreshReport()

    Me.Viewer1.Visible = True

    Well  did not work. Still got the datasouce not defined for report error. This is what the quickwatch shows when using the internal datasets and tablebinding method

    DataSources--> value --> system.windows.forms.bindingsource --->  and then an actual datasource entry...

    Eveything done with these examples give a DATASET and will not bind to the reports.

    Does not ANYONE actually have a report example then can zip and attach to a reply of this actually working? Looking at the different forums and solutions there are as many as carter has liver pills... ONE ACTUAL WORKING EXAMPLE PLEASE???  Anyone???
