I am using python3 and i have installed Azure storage python (https://github.com/Azure/azure-storage-python)

    but when i use

    queue_service.put_message('taskqueue', u'Hello World')

i am getting a syntax error for the second argument. why is that?

  • Hi,

    Thank you for posting here!

I tried to reproduce the issue, but failed. Per my experience, I think the issue was caused by using the old version of Azure SDK for Python, which seems to be a compatibility issue.

According to the offical suggestion about compatibility, please command `pip uninstall azure` for the old version, then re-install and try your code again.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,
