Managed Metadata navigation - automatically add pages to navigation RRS feed

  • Managed Metadata navigation provides the option to automatically add pages to navigation

    So whenever i create a page, it is added to navigation and it creates a term (at top level) in the term store. Till now its fine.

    Now what i am looking for is, whenever we create a page  Is there a way to choose or control the location( ie At top level or child level ) of the term.

  • Hi Ankit G,

    In the navigation settings, when you select one term set in the metadata navigation, then you create one page, the term of the page will be created under the term set which you have selected in the navigation settings.

    You could move the term of the page in the managed metadata service in central administration. If you move the term of the page to other term sets, then the term of the page will not display in the left navigation in the page.
