Foxpro swipe on tablet. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an application running on a windows 10 tablet. Its a pretty cool application, but...

Is there a way to make the grid scroll by the user "swiping" instead of using scroll bars or other means?

    Thanks!

  • Hello Alineko2,

I agree with Tom: the solution is a shape overlay!

In my Visual FoxPro App, I solved this problem in exactly the same way

You can download a Form for demonstration here:

    http://www.memotech.de/Grid/_Grid.zip

The following features are (yet) supported:

    - Swipe up / down / left / right (one finger)
    - Zoom in / out (two fingers)
    - Left Mouse Click
    - Right Mouse Click
    - Double Click
    - Mouse Wheel

    Regards, Stefan

  • Hello,

I could think of a "swipe area" ,a shape or so and some programming with Mouse enter, mouse up/down/move, mouse leave. To my opinion doing this in grid (data) area is much more difficult, exspecially to differ from click=Swipe start and  click=click for selection/edit,...

    Best regards
