    I want to know how to test a PCI card or driver in Windows 8 Enterprise edition- are there any tools available for that?

  • Well normally you think about what type of device and driver this is before you think of testing.  Both the WHCK and the WDK have tools that can help.  At a minimum you need to run the basic tests for plug and play and power management.  Also you need at build time for the driver to do a code analysis and fix all the bugs.  At run time you need to run the driver under driver verifier.

    If you tell us what the device is going to do, and if it is something common if the driver is going to comply with the standard interfaces, we can give you a better idea of the tests to run.
