Color Scheme Appearance RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I want to chance the default Color Scheme Appearance. I edited the wceshellfe.reg as follows:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Appearance]
     "Current"=mui_sz:"cplmain.cpl,#33414"

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Appearance\Schemes\HCWHITE]
    "DisplayName"=mui_sz:"cplmain.cpl,#33414"
    "Settings"=hex:\
          ff,ff,00,00,ff,ff,ff,00,ff,ff,ff,00,00,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,00,ff,ff,ff,00,ff,\
          ff,ff,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,00,80,80,80,00,c0,c0,\
          c0,00,80,80,80,00,00,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,00,ff,ff,ff,00,80,80,80,00,80,80,80,\
          00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,c0,c0,c0,00,00,00,00,00,c0,c0,c0,00,00,00,00,00,\
          ff,ff,ff,00,ff,ff,ff,00,00,00,00,00

     But unless untill i click the ok button in the "isplay Properties" dialog, this color scheme is not effective.

    How can i change the color scheme when i boot up the system?

    Thanks

    Chris
