  • Hello Sir,

    what is the difference between the wcf custom port and wcf sql port ?

    are they both come under the consume adapter service ?

  • Hi Sushil,

    In a WCF-Custom adapter port you choose the WCF binding (standard ones or custom ones) that you want to use. The standard bindings are wsHttpBinding, netTcpBinding, etc. OracleDbBinding and SqlBinding are themselves custom bindings. The WCF based SQL Adapter can be used to connect BizTalk applications to SQL Server. That is difference, but WCF-SQL uses sqlbinding as you can choose for sqlbinding in custom WCF-Adapter. Basically WCF-SQL Adapter is to be configured as WCF-Custom.
