Custom Font aachencomweb not working in windows 8.1

Question
-
Hi
I have created a windows store application which uses font aachencomweb-bold.ttf , The font style is not coming while running the application. however i tried other customfonts like helvetica it is coming. The font is detected by visual studio from assets folder in the solution. but it is not coming when i set the fontfamily textblock.
<TextBlock Foreground="{StaticResource commonColor}" Height="123" Margin="10,2,0,0" TextWrapping="Wrap" Text="75°C" VerticalAlignment="Top" FontSize="96" FontFamily="Assets/aachencomweb-bold.ttf#Aachen Com Web Bold" FontWeight="ExtraBlack" d:LayoutOverrides="HorizontalAlignment"/>
Can anyone help on this ? is it because it is a webfont.

There's lots of information on the web about this:
If you can't figure it out, please put your app on OneDrive and share a link to it here.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. Hi Matt
I have tried all these . I have shared a sample code can you check and confirm.
I have attached the link for the sample code in skydrive,
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=AAA2A33D9C4F7026%211465
I have placed the font in Assets folder of the application , the font name is aachencomweb-bold.ttf
The Expected behaviour when this font is assigned is below .
But when used in windows 8.1 this font is not refecting.
In the sample i have used two textblock one with font aachencomweb-bold.ttf and another with font Helvetica-Neue-LT-Com-95-Black.ttf the second one is coming correctly.

Hi Matt,
The font is a custom font which has licenses, so if the font has licenses will it be a issue ?
