Finding proper forum RRS feed

  • Question

  • I managed to find http://www.microsoft.com/communities/forums/default.mspx but there are many forums listed and I couldn't find one for questions about Word Starter (I used IE's search tool to search for "word"). I also didn't see a forum search tool. Just the search box for searching all of microsoft.com. How can I do a search of just forums and what's the proper forum for questions about Word Starter?

It's also hard to find the right category in the "select a forum category" list below, so I'm selecting the first one.

  • Thanks. But when I use the "find a forum" tool with the term "word starter" there are no results, and when I "search threads" for the same term I only see posts in forums for developers, such as the "Microsoft Office for Developers" forum. I'm just an end user of Word Starter with a question about formatting text boxes.

Okay...I clicked the question mark in Word Starter and it led me to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/word which will probably work.

  • This isn't the correct forum for this question so it will ultimately be moved to the Off-Topic forum.

    How to search MSDN:

In the Bing box at the top of this page, type your search term.

In the page that appears, refine your search.

    To search for a forum:

Back out the address box to http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ and go to the page.

Using "Find on this page"  search for your key word.
