  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I've been using the MSDN for a while and have a three year deal which I renew every three years. For some reason, MS have removed all the product keys for me previous subscriptions. How do I get them back?

    Regards

    Celestrium

  • Celestrium,

As pratha suggests, troubleshooting this really depends on where you got your subscription.

Probably the best way for you to get help is to contact support for your subscription.   If you have a subscription through bizspark, you'll need to contact BizSpark support (bizspark@microsoft.com). If its through MPN, you'll have to contact MPN support (https://mspartner.microsoft.com/en/us/Pages/Support/get-support.aspx), or if its through VL you'll either need to contact yoru VL administrator at your company, or MSDN Subscriptions Customer Service (http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/aa948875.aspx).

If  you want to continue to post here, let us know where you got your subscription, what level it is, when the keys disappeared, for what keys they were (i.e. what products they were for).

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Microsoft told me they can't help and so did GreyMatter. So I'll keep my money the next time they ask for a subscription renewal. It's just not worth the cost anymore and it seems MS have raised all the subscription costs to ridiculous levels. If they think that App developers are going to pay those sort of prices then I think they are going to be disappointed. MS should give Visual Studio away like Apple and others.

  • Hello Celestrium,

    Thank you for your post.

Based on your description, your issue is more related to MSDN Subscription. I am afraid that the issue is out of support of VS General Question forum which mainly discusses WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System and Visual Studio Editor.

I will move this thread to MSDN Subscriptions Feedback forum for better response and support.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Best regards,

May i ask your level of subscription? Based on your above statement i guess you should be having BizSpark 3 Years Subscription. If so you will have to contact the admin who provided the access.
