Build Error "claims it is defined...but it could not be found"

My website and all referenced projects are building with no errors/ warnings. When I try to build the deployment project it is erroring out on one particular object that referenced from the business layer. The wierd thing is that the same object is used in other parts of the site but does not throw an error until this one particular instance. Any help is appreciated.

The deployment project is actually erroring out on the first occurance of the object that it finds. The exact error is "Reference to type 'object'  claims it is defined in 'C:\....', but cannot be found. I have tried clearing out the temporary files.
