  •  I figured out a workaround by adding a textbox with " " for its value and adding that textbox to the bottom of the rectangle.

How are people building "fixed position" reports/forms?

  • Also the rectangles are only shrinking if there is a textbox in it.  If the rectangle is empty it doesn't shrink.

  • CanShrink property doesn't work?

Usually to prevent a control in a report to shrink setting CanShrink = false is enough.

  •  I don't see a property named CanShrink on the rectangle control.  I do see that on the TextBox control though.
