Interpolate missing depth values RRS feed

    I have a basic question about a problem I have. I used my Kinect to get RGB and Depth information. I created a 3D point cloud. Next I performed a segmentation on the RGB image (lets say I segmented a window). What I tried next is to show the segmented window in the 3D cloud. And here is my problem:

    For example: RGB image (640,480) - at position (1,1) i have an RGB value, but the depth value is missing. Is it possible to 'interpolate' the missing values?

    Some hints would be nice :)
