Project folder placed in Google drive sync folder

I recently moved my VS2017 projects folder to a subfolder in my Google drive backup sync folder, and I started to get periodical errors in Visual Studio, related to file access.

Is there another way to get automatic cloud backup of project files, preferably using Google drive?

Can Azure be used for this for free?

i dont think those online file/folders synching tool are mean to manage these kind of constant-being-use-and-changing file

u already facing side-effect of such attempt

for m$, u can look into "one drive"

or learn to use the source control properly
