sql server 2008 r2 express

hi,

I have windows 10 installed on my machine, I have tried sql server 2008 r2 express edition but it didn't get installed.. please anyone help me in this..

Alternatively try installing express edition of a recent version like SQL 2012 or SQL 2014

SQL Server 2008 R2 express is not supported on Windows 10 but it will not stop you from installing it. I suggest you download and install SQL Server 2014 express it is supported and I guess you would not face error. Just make sure you first read Hardware and software requirements
