Bing Maps not working with Visual Studio 2015 RC & Win10 [c#] RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, I've been trying to get Bing Maps working in Visual Studio Professional 2015 RC (Version 14.0.22823.1) on Windows 10 for the last day or two now and I'm having no luck unfortunately!

I'm trying to integrate Bing Maps into a Universal Windows App but any time I try and add the Bing Maps reference I've downloaded from the Visual Studio Extensions area (Version 1.313.825.0) I get told I am required to have Microsoft.VCLibs, version=12.0. I have the C++ 2013 and 2015 Runtime Packages for Windows Universal (version=14.0) and I've installed the Visual C++ Redist packages.

Is Bing Maps just currently incompatible with my setup? Or is there something obvious I'm missing?

Thanks in advance, let me know if there's any more information that'd help as I'm just about all out of ideas at this point!
