how many jobs? RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi all,

I'm pretty new to Azure services, my apologies for the noob question.

Let's say I have an Event Hub as input for a stream analytics job and 2 outputs: a power bi and a blob storage.

I'm wondering which are the constraints I should consider for a solution.

More precisely, a "job fits all" or a job for each flow?

Any reference to docs would be highly appreciated.

    thanks!

  • Consider a separate job for each flow if you want to provide better isolation of the output sinks from each other. In case PowerBI service is unavailable, you may not want the other output also to wait/stop (and vice versa).

is that the expected behavior? I mean, if any output service is unavailable, does it cause the other outputs to wait/stop?

so far, when I see the job diagram, it shows two separated flows to each output. I expect a stop in the case of a job failure.
