SQL Server with Windows Authentication not working.

Question

Dear Experts,

i have two virtual Machines with SQL Server 2016 installed.

on VM 1 i connect the SQL Server of VM2 with Windows Authentication and it works.  

But when i connect the SQL Server of VM1 from VM2 with Windows authentication, it does not connect. 

Both the VMs connect each other with SA account. 

Your urgent help needed.

Hi,
in case of  really Urgent a Error Message should be posted.

check for allowed remote access on vm1.

Hi

Enable only the services and connection types used by your applications

Disabling unused services and connections.

Surface Area Configuration Setting Connections.
