Is there an option to see last character of password in Windows Developer Preview?

    Question

  • With Metro being much more touch focused, is there an option to let users see the last character they enter for password entries? This feature seems to be available on many of the other OSs but I haven't seen if it's available for Win 8.

Original Title: Windows 8 password entry

  • Why you want to see the charactor for password. It is feature that is avaliable for many mobile devices since typing is difficult and there is small keyboard. But for Windows 8 , you have a big keyboard and it is easy and fast to type password. furthure more, you could use picture login that is faster way to login without using password.

  • Hello Retski1,

In Windows Developer Preview, when you type the password, there is a key symbol to the right. If you hover over it, it states to press and hold to see the password that you have just entered. This allows you to make changes if you typed the password wrong.

    Hope this helps.
