Custom authentications SharePoint 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We need to implement two specific authentications mode for SharePoint 2013.

    • The first one is based on OTP (One Time Password).
    • The second is based on Smart Card.

Does anyone have some feedback on such authentications ?

    Thank you for your help

  • Also Have a look at http://ioi.solutions/sharepoint-2013-azure-acs-and-custom-user-table-2/

I have done something to have SQL table and ACS in Azure to run authentication, similar to Facebook scenario.

  • Thanks all for your answers. I have temporarily stop my research to implement both authentication mode.

I think it is necessary to consult with administrators of the network the services which can be install.

For example, I have found that it's possible to use ADFS to configure smart Card a
    authentication with SharePoint.

    Best regards.
