Can I make cross platform c# apps without visual studio RRS feed

    For your question, if you want to create app without Visual Studio, you could write code in Notepad, Notepad++ and so on.

  • Yes you can develop c# apps without visual studio . 

    you can just use notepad or any iDE for that matter .

    But when you already have  one the  best IDE as (visual studio / visual studio code)  for c# app development why would you want to use  others IDE's .
