How to add resource from Active Directory in MSP

Question

Hi

   From MSP 2010 (Connected to project server)am trying to add resources from Active Directory.

Steps which i followed

1. Navigate to Resource sheet

2. Resource --> Add Resource --> Active Directory --> i added one resource name

but the issue is , In the Indication Column it shows Local Resource against the resource name

 Note : I can able to add resources from PWA

 Is it possible to add resource from Active Directory in MSP

Let me know if anything else is required

Hi Santosh,

I assume you want to add AD users to Enterprise resource pool? If I am wrong, ignore the following:

Open Resource Center in Project Web App, no need to select any resource and click on open. In MSP, add column Windows Account (and e-mail, if needed) and enter your data. Just save this file (Enterrise Resources) and check-in.
