Maps and routes change orientation and position for no reason RRS feed

  • Question

  • Mostly when using OS maps but the map can change, rotate or show a route with different points for no apparent reason.

Working undewr W10 1903 on a home built i5 desktop with GeForce 1030 graphics. In the image you can see neither the place names, the marker points the route and the map do not correspond.  Actually the map is showing inverted!

  • Hi John,

I have the same setup and don't see a rotation issue.  Can you give me a complete set of steps to see the issue?

  • You have the Chromium Edge which is in preview now. The issue came from them:

It’s been fixed in a later version:

Chromium Edge will integrate this fix later.

Meanwhile please use the released Edge from Windows 10 or Chrome.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

  • Hi John,

As explained by Yi in a prior answer, there are two products at the moment, Edge and Edge Dev.  As you are on Edge Dev, a pre-release product, the answer above is all we have for you.  Can you try the released product, Edge?  That should not have the issue.
