extrecordid in SHAREDAPPDETAILS request RRS feed

  • Question

  • All,

When our application redirects the user to "manage access" in HealthVault by using the shell target SHAREDAPPDETAILS, I also pass along the extrecordid parameter (in which I am currently passing just the record id). Am I passing the right information here - how does the application identify the right profile (in a multiple records in the same account scenario) ? Do I not need to pass the person id + record id?

Please let me know when you get a chance.

    Thanks

    Shyam

  • Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish by sending the user to SHAREDAPPDETAILS? That page is for looking at the access that an application has to a specific record (and revoking that access, if desired).

If you are looking to give the user the opportunity to change access and/or add records, you probably want to send them to the APPAUTH target, setting ismra as appropriate.

The person-id is set when the user authenticates with the HealthVault shell; applications have no control over that.

    Hope that helps.
