  • Hi sarath.satheesh,

I seems that Drag/drop between controls is not supported in Metro-style applications at this time. However, it is said that there is one customer who can drag and drop from one GridView to another GridView in a C# XAML Metro App. You can refer to this thread for more information about the drag/drop items: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winappswithcsharp/thread/6c8e4f23-c97b-4a2c-b100-74223de13c6e.

What's more, this documentation talks about guidelines and checklist for drag-and-drop animations in Metro style apps. I suggest you refer to it for more helpful ideas: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh465173.aspx.

I hope this reply is helpful to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
