redirections.xml causes profile corruption Window 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using FSLogix 2.9.7349.30108 with VMware Horizon 7.12 with non-persistent (not instant clones) Windows 10 build 1909 desktops.

    When using the redirections.xml file to make any exclusions the user profile fails to load upon logging out and back in again, signing in with a new user creates the VHDX within the folder on a file share successfully, logging out and back in again the user is then presented with the error "We can't sign in to you account" with the option of signing out or closing the window.

    Clicking sign out does as expects and logs the user off; Closing the window or clicking the close button creates a temporary profile and the user profile is not saved upon logoff.

    The issue is happening when ever the redirections.xml file is used no matter what the content is that is being excluded/included.

    Here's the redirections.xml file that I'm currently attempting to use: -

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!--List of Files that should be excluded when redirecting>
    <FrxProfileFolderRedirection ExcludeCommonFolders="0">

        <!--Misc Windows-->
        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Temp</Exclude>
        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Caches</Exclude>
        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client</Exclude>

        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Roaming\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache</Exclude>
        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Roaming\Sun\Java\Deployment\tmp</Exclude>

        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe</Exclude>

        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache</Exclude>

        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache</Exclude>

        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox</Exclude>

        <!--Webex Cache-->
        <Exclude Copy="0">AppData\Local\WebEx\wbxcache</Exclude>

        <Include Copy="3">AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security</Include>
        <Include Copy="3">AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Licensing</Include>
        <Include Copy="3"?Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Credentials</Include>

    Any one seen this before and have an idea as to how to correct the issue?
