SharePoint workflow 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • As attachments are not possible in OOB workflows. Can any one suggest what all other approaches we can use, I don't need link to attachment I need to send file itself in email.

    Any third party activity

    If we need to create custom activity please share links for the same.

    Any other ideas? Please share.

    try this custom activity which is the most popular and free -

    SharePoint 2013 - Send Email With Attachment- https://sharepointstuff.codeplex.com/

    Probably you can also use "event handlers and smtp sendemail" to send email attachments.

    Yes, there is no OOTB way to send mail with attachment using workflow.

    We need to write custom workflow activity to achieve it.
