1. Open the report you wish to add the watermark to. Ensure that the Design tab is selected.
2. Position your mouse over the gray Page Header section name. Right-click.
3. Choose Insert Section Below from the pop-up menu. This will insert a second page header section (you'll now see Page Header a and Page Header b)
4. Insert the image in Page Header b.
5. Position your mouse over the gray Page Header b section name. Right-click.
6. Choose Section Expert and check Underlay Following Sections.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, First of all sorry for the delay in reply.
I have follow all your Steps .But there is bit confusion about step 6 ie.
6. Choose Section Expert and check Underlay Following Sections.
When i choose this option for Page Header b section at that time background image is apply for that particular section.
I want to Assign image to my whole report which also includes group sections. I really cant get wheathere i made mistake.
Hope so you understand my problem.

Dear sunDAC.
Number 6 is exactly there for your purpose of assigning image to whole report which includes group sections. (I just tested my report with a group, and it worked.) I don't know what is the problem with your report. The only thing I can say is, try again with some simple examples.
Besh wishes,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I have done below as per your suggestions.
For this i have followed procedure as Right Click -> Insert -> Picture -> My Picture which i want
5. Position your mouse over the gray Page Header b section name. Right-click.
6. Choose Section Expert and check Underlay Following Sections.
Here problem is that When i right click on Page Header B -> Section Expert -> All the sections are present ie.
1) Report Header
2) Page Header
Page Header a
Page Header b
3) Group Headre
4) Details
5) Group Footer
6) Page Footer
7) Report Footer
Now For which Section i have to check Underlay Following Sections
i have done for Page Header b , i also try different combinations but the image only displays for Very small portion.
This is what i done.
Can you give any suggestion?

Don't try combinations of Underlay, just Page Header b please.
If your sections have charts, then charts will cover the image, for sure.

Hi Thanks for the reply.
I have done all the steps as per your steps5. Position your mouse over the gray Page Header b section name. Right-click.
6. Choose Section Expert and check Underlay Following Sections.
I just Check the checkbox.Wheather i have to write some code inside (X+2) Button present infron of that checkbox?
I have tried simple example without using group. There the image will display only for details section and size of that image is similar which is what i put on report.
Can you show me your exapmle. so that it will help me.

sunDAC,
After step 6, you need to click on the page header b on the left side grey area and drag it on top of the Page Header A, this will kind of "swap" things. when you then preview it should be behind all data no matter if in page header detail or footer.
to quote the following pdf link: http://www.mhprofessional.com/downloads/products/0072229519/0072229519_ch01.pdf
"If you wish to underlay items in the existing Page Header a section (field
titles, the report title, and so forth), swap Page Header b and Page Header
a by holding your mouse button down on either gray Page Header section
name. When the mouse cursor changes to the hand icon, drag and drop the
page header on top of the other page header. The sections will swap."
hope this helps.Thursday, April 30, 2009 12:44 PM -
